The Dade City Woman’s Club is requesting proposals from Qualified and Licensed Building Contractors to perform the Work for the Project on the Dade City Woman’s Club. The Dade City Woman’s Club has received a Grant and a Plans approval from the State of Florida Historic Preservation Office to renovate the exterior and interior of the Dade City Woman’s Club in accordance with the State Historic Preservation Office’s requirements and approval and is outlined in the approved Architectural Construction Documents. Construction Documents for this Project can be requested. Qualifications- The contractor must be a licensed Building Contractor with experience in the renovation of historic buildings and local to the area of the Project site. The Work is to be performed according the State Historic Preservation Office approved Project Renovation Plans, outlined in this Project summary and the Construction documents. Work must follow the specifications noted in the Construction Documents. Proposals will be evaluated in terms of experience with local historic preservation projects.

Project Scope- This Project consists of mostly interior and exterior building renovations and repairs to the existing of the building in general, and the renovation and re-configuration of space specifically in the existing two restrooms, in accordance with ADA for Existing Buildings. This is a state funded historic preservation project. All work completed will be subject to approval by the Florida State Historic Preservation Office.

Budget: The total Grant for the Dade City Woman’s Club renovation process is $300,000.00, including architectural fees of $30,000. $270,000.00 has been allocated for the Construction Services and Materials, and General Conditions for the Project. All interested parties must be Licensed Building Contractors with experience in historic renovations and operating their business in close proximity to Dade City, Pasco County, FL.

Due Date: 1 week after posting, Feb. 19th 2025. The official rewarding of the contract will be 3 business days after the deadline for submittal of bids.

This Notice of Intent to Procure the services of a Licensed Building Contractor is required in order to fulfill the Procurement Requirements for State of Florida Historic Preservation approved and funded Grant # 23.h.sc.900.155
